Nowadays, people have a lot of awareness about the term MENTAL HEALTH but most of the time this is absent from any debate or public discussion. Why do People ignore or try to avoid talking about this? Mental health is just a condition or state of well-being in which a person knows his potentials; try to adapt or cope with changes of life, work fruitfully, fulfilling relationships with others, and also give contributions towards his community.

We can also say that it is the successful performance of the mental function or harmonious working of the mind, which results in a well-adjusted personality or well-being.
Mental health is very important at every stage of life and throughout life everyone somehow, experiences problems in thinking, mood, behavior, etc. which are related to mental health. Many factors contributed to mental health problems such as biological, family history, environment, etc. People develop misconceptions and stigma about mental health issues due to the lack of education, stigma, and misinformation. This misinformation influences the number of seeking of treatment, resources of treatment. It can also produce obstruction for those who are struggling in mental health conditions.
There is no physical test which indicates the mental health issues, instead of these few early signs which can be shown in an individual’s personality or in life such as; feeling hopeless, social isolation, experiencing hallucinations or delusions, showing negative emotions, mood-altering and so on.

Psychotherapies, medication, meditation, changes in lifestyle, self-care or self-help and family -community support, etc. are essential to help in recovering, or restore mental health.
